Feeling tired? 6 Tips for more energy
If you have problem getting out of bed or staying awake through the day, try these Smart Living Tips:
1. Avoid late night high-fat meals
If you are hungry near bed time, drink a glass of milk.
2. Eat breakfast
Numerous studies have shown that eating a healthy breakfast can help people feel better both mentally and physically during the morning hours.
3. Drink like a fish
Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day, and add 4-6 more glasses when you exercise to avoid dehydration which causes fatique.
4.Get outside
Or at least turn on the lights at home in the morning. This will help you reset your awake-sleep cycle.
5. Create a sleep schedule and stick to it
At least get up at the same time every morning, even on weekends.
6. Walk into sleep
People who walked at least six blocks a day at a normal pace were one-third less likely to have trouble sleeping. Get up now and start walking!

Cycle filming may get me famous
It's funny to see in an article on the Guardian website how someone can make use of a ATC3K action cam to make his trip to work fun on a day the London Tube was on strike.
The article also mentioned that there was a "bike film festival" held in New York earlier this month. Perhaps I should get my ATC camera and my bike out doing some filming this weekend. Maybe I'll be going to Hollywood next month!

Don't make me think - User Interface Design & Smart Living
Advancements in computer technology has led to electronic products today being capable of doing a lot of things in a smart way. Compare your home TV system with the one used a decade ago. How much more complex are the user interfaces (of both the device & remote control)? Do you have several remote controls lying around in the living room? This demonstrates that the more a product can do, the more interaction between the user and the product will be needed, thus making it easy for user interfaces to become over-complicated. Ubiquitous computing is seen to be one of the most important trends of the digital world in the upcoming years - embedding computers into spaces & objects in our everyday lives and making them invisible to users. The spaces can be our living or working environment with intelligent systems that automatically adjust the ambience (e.g. light, temperature, sound) according to the users’ activities in the room. The objects can be anything from furniture to household appliances or even garments that interact intelligently with the users. All these intelligent designs summed up together create a new way of lifestyle that can literally be known as smart living.

New Photo-Touch Phone
Isn't it cool to have a digital photo frame with touch-control panel and cordless telephone combineed, allowing you to make a phone call while enjoying photos at the same time? What's more, you can see who is calling before picking up the phone. If you are on the phone, the next caller's photo will pop up as thumbnail on the screen as call waiting. This great product will be launched in Hong Kong later this month. Stay tuned if you are in other countries.
